Today marks the first day of black history month. Not only this month, but everyday we celebrate and honor those who paved the way for us today. This month is not just about our history, but also about embracing the fullness of our humanity and shaping our future. 💚💛🖤♥️

Today we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who dedicated his life to fighting for human rights, racial equity, and justice for all people.

All 3rd grade scholars were given an opportunity to submit designs and THREE of our HJCS scholars had their artwork chosen! The three 3rd graders, Mofeoluwa Atoyebi, Aunri Douglas, and Mila Williams, had their designs painted on the Free Food Fridge by professional muralist Cara. M. Hanley at the Honest Weight Food Co-Op on Watervliet Ave.
